WATZAAA answers one question for your city: what's going on, and who's going? It finds the games, festivals, shows and conventions worth leaving the house for, checks each one against its official source (anything not yet confirmed is labelled), and puts small groups of verified people together to go.

How it works

Discover is live in 49 cities. Match, Plan and Book are being proven by hand in Columbus first; everywhere else, a Join or Host click puts you on that city's waitlist.

1. Discover. Every Sunday we sweep official calendars — teams, venues, the convention center, festival organizers — two weeks out, plus a month-ahead look at big events. Listings that match the official source are marked confirmed, with a link and a “last checked” date. Anything we have found but not yet confirmed is shown with a “not confirmed” label.
2. Match. You tell us what you'd go to anyway. We put you with 3–8 compatible people who said the same thing. Hosts can bring their own 3–5 friends and we fill the rest.
3. Plan. Each group gets three plans: where to meet first, where to be for the main event, where to end up. You pick.
4. Book. We send you to the venue to book directly. WATZAAA never holds your money.
5. Measure. Afterwards we ask two things: did you show up, and did you meet someone new. That's how we decide what to do more of.

Rules we run by

• Neutral ranking. What you see first is decided by rules you could read, never by who paid. Sponsored placements, when they exist, are labeled and separate.
• Verification statements are literally true. “Phone-verified” means we confirmed control of a mobile number. “ID-verified” means a hosted ID + selfie check. We never store ID images, only the result.
• No participant money. Venues are invoiced for what they get; you pay venues directly, like you would anyway.
• A human sends every message until a specific automation has proven itself safe. Texts are opt-in, capped, respect quiet hours, and STOP always works.
• 18+, public licensed venues only.

For venues

If you run a bar, restaurant, theater or event space in one of our test markets: WATZAAA brings pre-formed groups on the nights you choose, and lists your schedule and specials next to the events people are already planning around. There is no fee to be listed with accurate public facts. Paid placement is labeled, and never changes the organic order. Email hello@junkdna.ai with the subject “WATZAAA venues”.
