Data deletion

In short: if you connected Facebook or LinkedIn to WATZAAA, we keep only which platform it is and when you connected it. You can remove it yourself on your page, delete your whole account, or email support@junkdna.ai and a person will delete it within 30 days.

1. What we keep when you connect an account

Verified pilot members can connect Facebook or LinkedIn on their page, watzaaa.ai/me, under Connected accounts. You sign in to the platform on its own page. Our sign-in provider, Auth0, then links that account to your WATZAAA sign-in record.

  • In our database we keep one row for each connected platform: which platform it is (Facebook or LinkedIn) and the date and time you connected it. For X, which is not open yet, we would also keep your public handle.
  • At Auth0, the linked account holds what the platform sent when you signed in: your name, your profile picture and the platform's id for you. For Facebook we ask only for your public profile.
  • We never ask for or keep your email from the platform, your friends or connections, your followers, your posts, or the platform's keys for your account.

A connected account is never a way to sign in to WATZAAA, and it never changes the order of the listings anyone sees.

2. Delete it yourself on WATZAAA

  • Remove one account: open watzaaa.ai/me, go to Connected accounts and tap Remove beside Facebook or LinkedIn. This unlinks the account at Auth0, deletes what Auth0 kept of it and deletes our row. It works even if you already removed WATZAAA on the platform.
  • Delete everything: on the same page, under Your account, tap Delete my account. This deletes your sign-in record at Auth0 with every account linked to it, and your WATZAAA account with all its data, connected accounts included.

3. Remove WATZAAA on the platform

This stops the platform from sharing anything new with us. It does not delete what is listed in section 1; use section 2 or email us for that.

  • Facebook: open Settings, then Apps and websites. Find JunkDNA and choose Remove.
  • LinkedIn: open Settings, then Data privacy, then Permitted services. Find the JunkDNA app and choose Remove.

4. Ask us to delete it

Email support@junkdna.ai from any address and say which platform you connected. If you cannot reach your page, tell us the email of your WATZAAA sign-in so we can find your account. A person reads every request and deletes the data within 30 days. Write to the same address if a connection failed partway: Auth0 may still hold the platform's record, and we will delete it.

Our sign-in provider's security logs expire on its own schedule. For everything else we collect, see our Privacy Policy.

Privacy update. Privacy Policy updated October 29, 2026: the profile (headline, bio, handle, links, the public page) and connected accounts are now for confirmed pilot members only. Also October 29: a confirmed member may add a profile photo, which we store as a 512 x 512 picture with its location and camera details removed, shown to others only as they choose (see Profile photo). Since October 28: you may pick a handle and add links, and turn on a public link page that shows only what you marked Public (see Handle and link page); you may add a headline and a short bio on your profile, shown to others only if you mark them Public and turn your link page on (see the Headline and bio paragraph); you may also connect LinkedIn, Facebook or X on your page, and we keep only which platform, the day and, for X, your public handle (see Connected accounts). Since October 27: venue staff accounts now keep an access level, tasks, job title, reporting line and an activity log (see the Venue staff accounts paragraph); the feedback form may ask for an email, only if you want a reply, and it goes only to our help desk (Atlassian), never into our database. Since October 26: the pilot now runs in Columbus, Baton Rouge and Washington, DC, and we keep which of the three areas your ZIP was in (never the ZIP); we also keep which kind of our links brought you (such as Reddit), never a person. Since October 22: sign-in is by Google or Apple through Auth0, which keeps your sign-in email and name (we keep only an account id); pilot members pass an ID check with Persona, which keeps the ID data in an account for its retention period, and we keep only the result; and a venue staff account holds its sign-in id and venue, plus your access level and tasks, job title, who you report to, who invited you and a log of your actions for the venue, shown with your first name and title to the venue's full-control members and to us. Analytics stays off until you agree. Read the policy.

About accuracy. Listings are gathered automatically from public websites and checked against official sources where we can, but we can't guarantee that any event, time, price or closure is accurate or still on. Confirm with the venue or organizer before you go. Nothing here is a booking, an endorsement or advice.
